Sturgeon

These two Stuffed Sturgeon are mounted on the wall of the Resturant at 3 Mile Slough

This is the bigest fish we have caught. When my wife Susie yelled bite, I set my hook and the fight was on. We streched it out along side of the boat as it was too big to bring inside. Being that it was 77 1/2 " long we let it go. Jay Sorenson from California Striped Bass Association, told me that for its size it should weight about 130 lbs.

This beauty was 65 1/2" long and weight 71 1/2 lbs. I cought it on my striper

pole with striper setup. Thought a catfish was tapping my line so i finished my

dinner and then set my hook. Oh gosh was that a fight.
